This is a site dedicated to my little girl, Stormy.

Stormy was born with a rare condition called Short Bowel Syndrome. When she was born she had only 20 cm. of active small intestine. She has gone through countless surgeries. Two major ones and then placement of central lines and such. She has also developed a liver disease from the infections and continuous TPN (or hyper-al). Just to look at her you would never know anything is wrong with her except maybe she's a little dark complected. She's been through a lot and is a very strong little girl

I am waiting on a multi-visceral transplant!! A new liver, small intestine, stomach & pancreas!

Stormy was in the news yesterday. You can see it by going to www.indystar.com and searching for Stormy Bryant. They used a great picture of her.

She is doing well today. They still won't let her wake up yet. She's not ready. Her Dr.s say maybe this weekend. She still has a lot of fluid retention. Please keep praying for her.

Sorry it's been a while since I updated the site. Stormy has been home this whole time and doing very well. Her therapists are pleased that she is sitting on her own now and trying to turn over for short periods of time. Now the big news, Stormy was on Riley's telethon for kids last night!! We briefly told her story and explained why donations were important. Come back soon for more Stomry updates!!!Thanks!!! Stormy, Renee & Joseph

April 29, 2003 :
Stormy came back in the Saturday before Easter and is doing a lot better now. She had MRSA( an antibiotic resistant staph infection) and Strep in her central line. She just had a new line placed today. She's a little groggy still but in a good mood otherwise. We talked to her liver doctor today and she said that we should look in to other centers to list Stormy for transplant. We are looking into Miami right now it seems to be the best option. Thanks for checking the site for updates and we will get pics of her up as soon as we can

Stormy is in the hospital again for her central line. It is infected again and now has a small crack in it. She will be getting a new one soon. She is up to 21 lbs. The unit is not ready at Riley yet. Possibly within the next month or so it will be. Please come back often for updates. Hugs and kisses from Stormy. We'll get pictures up as soon as possible.
